Setup / stance
Feet hip-width apart, cue-driven random diagonal targets
Clinical focus
Reaction speed, diagonal directional accuracy, recovery control
Patient instruction
Wait in the center. When a diagonal target appears, quickly shift your body toward that target and then return to center before the next cue appears. Move fast, but stay controlled and accurate.
Therapist cue
Quick reaction, clean return, no overshooting
Primary metrics
Reaction time, directional accuracy, center return speed, correction count
Progression / regression
Slower cue speed / faster random cues
Safety / guarding
Guard if patient reacts impulsively or oversteps
